These are organic soybeans, specifically bred for Natto-making. They were grown here in Austria by an acquaintance of ours, a Natto maker and soybean farmer.
Previously, we had beans with some dark spots, this new batch has a uniform color again, as in the product picture.

The beans in water grow to be double side. Also the cooking time was not clear due to not mention on the pack if the beans were small or big
I bought it together with the natto spores and the natto turn to be very nice.
Looking forward to try the other spores to make miso.

Not up to your usual standard. Although they made good natto, about 1/4 of them had brown marks on the outside and were DIO Lou red. I have bought these from you before that we’re not like that.

These soybeans are great for natto! I am so happy to find this shop and these beans. As a Japanese, natto is one of the soul food and I started to make them here in Germany. I had been seeking for the right soy beans in Europe for a long time. The natto made with these beans turned out the best natto I have ever made!

These beans are great quality and I feel very fortunate to find such a source of Natto soya beans (all other soya beans I found were too big and the end result is just not the same). I highly recommend ordering these along with the Natto spores and making your own Natto (so much tastier than store bought)
